Necklace Agata and blue ... pins

Even today, a new creation in stone, it is a blue agate necklace.
I bought these stones at the craft fair in Milan, I drew the beautiful deep blue and I knew that there was a variety of agate with this color ... tell the truth at first I thought that I had frigate in the sense that I was not convinced agate as I was told, so I did a search on the net and I discovered that there really is, in fact there are many varieties all wonderful.

Going from necklaces to brooches Stefy my friend asked me to a pin that must go with a dress, the only indication he gave me is that he wants the stone of the sun.
For me this is something completely new, I never created brooches and even if the head of an idea already cel'ho as I realize I do not know where to start to create the structure of the pin ... In practice, I packed my two girls for two towels with a cross stitch that each one has chosen. I wonder if I'm capable of!
The only time I picked up a needle and thread embroidery was of oven mitts for my mother and my mother-in-law, the result was not bad, but nothing to do with the job I expected.
